Issue two of The Junket, a collection of articles about a wide range of topics billed as an "online quarterly", is out. There's a great, riotous defence of gingers, an account of a Victorian acquarium, a thought-provoking piece on the theory of mind and a story of bloodlust in the veldt. And they're just the ones I've read so far.
I wrote something for it too.
The journal is edited by a group of whip-smart guys, and, as I understand it, was born out of a desire to write, and to explore different ideas without an end in sight. A sort of jaunt, excursion, ramble. A junket.
Go check it out.
